Ang Cheng Chye

 

Born in 1954 in Singapore, Mr Ang Cheng Chye has always been intrigued by Chinese Art and has been in this trade for almost 30 years. He was educated in Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts (presently named The Academy of Chinese Fine Art) in Hangzhou, China and was awarded a Certificate in Chinese Brush Painting.

He is an executive committee member of Singapore Molan Art Association since 1983 and is the Founder and Chairman of YiLin Art Club since 1995. He has also been actively involved in art education for local community and schools for the last 25 years.

Chinese Figure Brush Painting and Calligraphy instructor for People's Association Community Centres (include Tanjong Pagar Community Club and Jurong Green Community Club).
